Highly colourful, very plentiful and always around: Tokyo’s taxis have been a photographic obsession of mine ever since first visiting.
Taxis are one of the things I collect. Not physically, obviously. I collect things with my camera and ever since coming to Japan, the taxis have interested me. What started as a casual collection with my cameras turned into work, when several magazines asked me to do stories on the taxis in Tokyo or asked to feature the pictures I’d already shot.
Even after doing the various magazine articles, I keep shooting the taxis. I can’t stop. 🙂
